The 2018 Black squad won their first tournament of the 2017 Summer season defeating Albany Power 2018 5-4 in the championship game. Blak Widow previously lost to the Power 7-6 during pool play. The boys bounced back from this early upset beating Tri-State 7-3, SF Big Horns 9-4 and Bandits 2018 5-2 in the semifinal game.
